Beyond Recycling: Reducing Our Carbon Footprint and Preserving Our Planet

Why sustainable, why recyclying

We are proud of reaching a landmark of 1.0 tonne of recycled cardboard being used in our packaging till 09.11.23. This amount would have saved approximately 70-75 tonnes of coal or 2500-2700 cubic meters of natural gas to produce fresh cardboard if used.

There are various reasons why we chose to use recycled materials where possible.

Firstly while making our homes greener with the plants we do not want our planet to look like the picture here which is of Bavarian Forest after mega deforestation. After all we live in one planet as home and there is no border of Ozone or frontier of ocean water across this globe.

There are many reasons why we decided to switch to recycled packaging where possible. According to one research alone cardboard production for approximate medium sized packaging of a plant can cause 0.16 to 0.29kg CO2 discharged in air. That is excluding what is spent on its carriage as well as what might have been generated by improperly recycling the cardboard that we have used in your plants to wrap.

As a comparison it takes 15 to 20 minutes per plant more in our time to wrap in recycled cardboard as compared to using the new cardboard but we are happy to take that brunt for the well being of our planet's future. We believe in total well being not just our own home and surroundings.

We also WARRANT that collection and delivery of recycled materials that we use does not cause any extra transportation or carbon burden on our planet Earth.

Though we like to go to 100% recycled material but there is limited choice on some materials thus barring us to use some materials as new.
